I love the early morning football that is a byproduct of living in Alaska!
If I am at home and watching the game I like a morning start. We are in mountain time zone so the game would be at 10AM. If I am going to the game I loved when the UTEP game started at 2:30. Perfect start time.
Any injury updates? I didn't see anybody go to the locker room for injuries during the game that I'm aware of. Fidone looked like he got a stinger or something at one point. We had so many injuries last year that it really degraded our performance. If we got through the first two games without anyone being injured that's a great sign.

I love the fact that Rhule doesn't sugarcoat areas where the team needs to improve. There is a lot to be happy about, but our performance on Saturday was far from perfect. Indeed, I would guess that it gets us beat by double digits against most of the top ten teams. Our offense in the second half was not very good.
We can both be happy (indeed, ecstatic) that we finally seem to be turning a corner and acknowledge that there is a lot of work left to do.

The fact that we screwed up so badly in the 2nd half and the game was still never in doubt is a welcome change.
Memorial Stadium will be quite a change for them from that environment.
The Athletic had NU in the #11 slot. One of the writers did that is.
Nice to see we are helping the conference out.
Coach was a bit harsh talking about the guys, but I kinda like it. No holds barred.
Yeah he named names in one case.
I think he named names when it was good, not necessarily when it was bad. But I may have missed it.

He praises when appropriate and constructively criticizes when appropriate. Fair. Direct. Not a lot of coaches I’ve seen can manage that balance.
