Again, I need better answers for the snub we got Saturday!! I don't buy any of this "playing better" crap!

I am 88 years old, been around the block, and I have never seen a team so snubbed by that crappy institution, espn!

If we play terrible and look bad, or we lose, you can bet your bottom dollar we are getting "attention"!!

And, as far as College Game Day, that is also a program that barely shows us, or may not! Quit giving me ammo, please! ;)

Our kids are playing lights-football and they fail to show the nation anything. The stats and plays of some of our players were outstanding!

It is one thing to slight Nebraska because of their hate for Trev, (which I really believe is the reason) but they are depriving the laurels a lot of our players rightly deserve. This is why I do not support espn in any way. They are despicable! Sometimes I feel, this crap comes down from someone behind the scenes that has a "thing" for our university.

Please, do not defend espn. It just does not fly!

First of all, I didn't even watch the game, I was out of the country. I watched highlights on youtube.

Nobody said they don't look exciting or not entertaining. I am excited as the next guy about how the team looks. I never said they were only showing ESPN schools. What they show mainly on the ESPN Final show is top 25 games that are important. Then they throw in some interesting stuff from other teams. I bet they talked a lot about the OSU-Texas game. I bet they talked a lot about the Oregon loss to Okie St. I am sure they showed a bunch of highlights from the OU-Michigan game. I bet the Indiana win over Howard a 55-0 romp got maybe a 10 second piece showing their QB throw a long pass. I doubt they showed a bunch of highlights from ND huge win over Rice.

Nebraska beating Bowling Green 56-7 might draw 1 nice pass play from Calandrea to Barney.

Yeah, if Nebraska would have lost they would have talked about it, because Nebraska isn't supposed to lose to a bad BG.

Bob, my friend, ESPN is trying to make money and showing a bunch of Nebraska highlights over a bad Bowling Green team really isn't too high up on their programming charts. It's just the way it is.

In part it is about Nebraska being on another network. ESPN has been talking about getting rid of the ticker at the bottom of the screen. They don't want people seeing the score of a game on another network that is interesting and having people change the channel. As others have said beat someone with a pulse or get into the top 25 and they will talk about us.

At the risk of incurring your wrath- they usually focus on the rated teams. Not unranked teams that played a mid major opponent.

Were you outraged Tarleton St didn’t get a bunch of coverage on ESPN? Because they also beat Bowling Green this year.

When we play games of significance we will get more air time. Until then consider it a blessing our team is under the radar.
