Dominate culture names don't count as being "dehumanizing". We aren't worth the trouble.
- in all seriousness, some names need to go. But any name that is a common label for a group of people is not bad. Those that feel using a noun like 'Chiefs' is offensive need to re-evaluate how and why they feel offended. Same with 'Indians'. If you feel 'Indians' is offensive, be fair and apply your logic to EVERY name, not just minorities. If you don't feel the same level of being 'offended' by 'Irish' or Yankees', then you are very obviously biased against certain cultures and people.

Mutual of Omaha is removing the ‘chief’ imagery as their logo. Nobody really even asked them to. Great statement being made about ending the appropriation of indigenous cultures and dehumanization of indigenous peoples.
