This was a good win. It felt good. It was an accomplishment. A month down the road the ladies will not be thinking about this game at all. they will be thinking about what’s next. This games “ impact” will be less and less as the weeks pass. We can be dramatic about it …… I choose to think about the reality of the process

I think this win means more for the fans than it does for the team. The players even mentioned in the post game interview for Texas this wasn't the same team we lost to in 23, they only have 1 or 2 players left on the team from then.

It's a win, a nice win, but there are probably a couple teams we'll face in the Big 10 that are better than Texas.

I don't know about that. Penn State has looked mediocre these first two weeks. They got spanked by SMU and were taken to 5 sets by High Point yesterday.

Wisconsin is 1-3 right now and has all kinds of health issues. Auguste and Lopez and Egan all are struggling with injuries. They will get better once Decelise Champion arrives later this week, but they are struggling.

Purdue lost their best player for the season with some kind of undisclosed medical condition. Their second best player hurt her ankle and missed a match Saturday. Not sure how long she will be out.

USC looked good against Arizona State, then lost to Creighton. I've never been a fan of USC coach Brad Keller. IMO, no one does less with more than Keller. He recruits great players and they continue to have mediocre teams every year.

Minnesota looks better this year, but they still lost badly to Arizona State. Passing and ball control are big concerns for them, and Swenson is still struggling to find her groove as their setter.

I don't know if Nebraska will go undefeated in the Big Ten again this year, but I will be surprised if they lose more than one match in conference play. There is just no one at Nebraska's level this year.

It's been a lot of everyone beating each other so far. Arizona State beats Texas and Minnesota, lose to USC. Creighton loses to Minnesota and beats USC. SMU started well with the wins over A&M and Penn St, but looked like a totally different team against us, but maybe that was more about us making them look different.

I think Wisconsin is better than they've played, that is if they get healthy.

Yeah agreed. I think someone was thinking I was downplaying the win (which I’m not - it was a very good win). I think it just is not the important thing right now..

Tom Osborne said recruiting is like shaving. If you don't do it everyday, you get to looking a little grubby.

If you want to be good at something, practice it everyday.

The volleyball games this season so far, show serving practice has really paid off.

Dani did say she hates to use the time. Said it is boring..........but, she will make them practice everyday. :)

Texas has an outstanding coach that will most likely have they primed and ready to go come tournament time.

Celebrate the win now but remember it is how you are playing come tournament time…not match two.

I really believe, staying healthy, we can go undefeated. We have so much talent to plug up any hole. :) Speaking of talent.............Bergen really got hot on her serving!!! She was totally awesome!
