The Madhouse at Madison was rocking, but Harding played outta his mind and Minnesota had numerous chances to win that game

Hey hockey fans, haven't jumped in yet because my playoffs don't start until tonight...HABS vs sens. Actually have been working. Nice to see the leafs go down last night. Way to much enthusiasm up here for them but can't blame leaf fans for that.. they haven't been in the playoffs for 8 years. Actually didn't think my Habs would make the playoffs this year but was pleasantly surprised. Price will have to get hot and stand on his head for Montreal to do any damage in the playoffs this year. Go HABS

Pittsburgh looks like the team to beat....my daughter is a HUGE Pens fan so is very happy today....

Toronto and the Islanders look to be the two dirtiest teams in the competition....Toronto is going to find out their intimidation tactics won't work in the playoffs....the other teams are too good and will hand them their butts...

Gryba was assessed five minutes for interference and given a game misconduct. Brendan Gallagher would score on the ensuing five minute power play as the Canadiens took a 2-1 lead into the third period. Eller left the ice on a stretcher and appeared to be conscious.

The Canadiens say Eller suffered a "head and facial" injury and is alert at hospital. Hockey Night in Canada reported that Eller suffered a broken nose and a concussion.

This play was a recipe for disaster, beginning with Diaz sending a suicide pass Eller's way. His head is looking for the pass as Gryba is skating in to separate Eller from the puck. Like we saw in the Ryan White suspension, Gryba could have lined up his hit better with Eller's body, not his head, taking the brunt of the blow. The moment of impact appears to be the back of Gryba's shoulder with Eller's chest/head. That's how far off line he was on the hit.

Rangers were flying around and dictating play early and then seemed to run out of gas. Caps are pretty hot right now. It will be a tough series for my Rangers.

Two game suspension....I suspect because he is a rookie and has no prior issues...only 25 penalty minutes this season...
