I'm all for it as long as the building has a roof. Championship games should be played in domes. Traditionalist will disagree, but I'd rather have the best team win instead of a weather induced mess.
Well, the state bill that approves the new Vikings stadium requires a roof. Whether it'll be retractable or fixed is still up for debate in the Vikings front office. Considering Lucas Oil Stadium has a retractable roof, I'll go ahead and make a 'bold' prediction that any bowl/B1G championship games to be played there will be a roof overhead, despite it's ability to retract.
