Just so yall know, Matt Rhules NFL record and Mike Rileys are the same. Yussss saying all this garbage about the NFL being a different beast is nonsense, its played with the same ball on the same field with the same players. It counts.
May I assume you don't follow the NFL?

There isn't a single coach out there that all would agree is a WOW hire (not in a positive way). UM is the closest, but there is far from universal agreement on him.
No kidding.... but I'll bet we can have a pretty large consensus that our new hire is excellent. You couldn't get this group to totally agree tomorrow is Saturday imo.

When comparing TO to Saban I wonder if TO would have won more or less than 3 championships at Bama and if Saban would have won more or less than 6 at Nebraska. Saban won more chamionships with more talent, and Nebraska is heck of a lot harder to recruit in than Alabama.
Only because Tom followed the rules and Saban figured out ways to ignore them.

I think the coach is signed but I'm shocked at how well buttoned up this still is. Still hearing several names.

I'm on the fence with the Rhule candidacy.

Is there anyone on this board who can comment on his win:loss record?

His win/loss record isn’t impressive. But that requires some context. He’s taken over a couple of college dumpster fires and turned them into huge winners. Then he leaves. I’m hoping that he turns around the Huskers so well that he leaves. Nice problem to have.

I'm ok with his record and history.
Just a sad attempt at humor.
I feel that I know Rhule inside and out.
