I thought I saw somewhere in the last couple of days that Erstad had received a commitment from a pitcher of note. Is this a "new" recruit or confirmation of some existing commit? Who is it? Anybody know?

Quentin Urban says his style of play on the baseball diamond reminded Darin Erstad of another hard-nosed outfielder.

Erstad.

So when Nebraska’s new baseball coach made his first recruiting phone call to the do-everything athlete at Millard South, his words carried some weight.

“I like to say he’s my kind of person,” Urban said. “It’s crazy how much we are alike.”
