Most coaches bring in guys they have worked with or know well. Rarely do you see someone hire position coaches off a “best of” menu.

Very true.

And with that in mind, how about Joe Brady? Coached with Mickey and Busch at LSU and then went with Rhule to the NFL. (He only stayed eithbCarolina for one season, so not sure if there was a falling out with Rhule.)
