Brad Fischer, who guided Wisconsin-Oshkosh to back-to-back NCAA Division III Final Four appearances, has joined the Nebraska women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach, Husker Head Coach Amy Williams announced on Monday.
Fischer, who spent the past 14 seasons building UW-Oshkosh into a national power, took the Titans to 11 NCAA Division III tournaments, including Final Four bids in 2025 and 2026.
Fischer was the NCAA D-III Central Region Coach of the Year by D3hoops.com in 2014, 2021 and 2025 and the WBCA Region Coach of the Year in 2019, while claiming six WIAC Coach-of-the-Year honors (2013, 2017, 2019, 2024, 2025, 2026).
