Nebraska's O-line

Nice preview.

The two-deep is intriguing to me

• LT: Elijah Pritchett, Gunnar Gottula
• LG: Paul Mubenga, Preston Taumua
• C: Justin Evans, Sam Sledge
• RG: Brendan Black, Gibson Pyle
• RT: Tree Babalade, Gunnar Gottula

Behind this group are other names such as Grant Brix and Tapu.

I really hope our internal development can improve and generate starters/contributors rather than annually mining the portal for two or three linemen.

I have a feeling Brix, when rubber meets pavement, will just take off. And those chances have increased a lot under the new coaches imo.

We have two coaching dudes … proven, tested and certifiable!

Tapu transferred.

If I read this correctly then EJ made the line of scrimmage or better (before contact) almost 70% of the time .. which reflects well on the offensive line.

Yeah, i think we ran blocked well.EJ did a great job of reading blocks. His replacements need to improve that part of their game

You have got to be kidding me; getting hit almost 34% of the time at or behind the line os scrimmage is horrendous!

Here is what AI thinks:

A running back (RB) should ideally never be hit at or behind the line of scrimmage, but in reality, they are hit there frequently due to offensive line failure. Data suggests some backs face this scenario on nearly 20% of carries, while elite lines keep it under 10%. Consistent hits here indicate poor offense.

This has got to improve if DONU is advance, it is why Geep was brought in.....
