Steed chooses down and gets escape. Wins 5-1 with riding time. He'll wrestle #1 Levi Haines (Penn State) for the title.
HWT: No. 4 AJ Ferrari vs #1 Bastida (Iowa State). Very quick takedown for Bastida, almost got a pin in the first 15 seconds, but no near-fall points. Escape for Ferrari. Second takedown almost to a pin in P1, gets near fall, Ferrari gets the second escape. 10-2 after P1. Bastida gets escape to start P2. 11-2 after 2. Ferrari is given the escape in P3. Ferrari with a late takedown and release. Bastida gets another takedown late to get the major decision back. 15-6 win. He'll have #7 Doucet (Ok State) in the Consolation Semifinals.

As a wrestler, I have to admit, probably the biggest thing that keeps fans away (especially tournaments) is having to wait all day to see one match. (Yeah I know it's more than one match but...) It's the greatest sport out there, but not very fan friendly...
