The No. 6 Nebraska wrestling team drew a record crowd of 7,891 to the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Friday night but fell to the Iowa Hawkeyes, 22-14. Brock Hardy grabbed his 100th dual win and became the 33rd wrestler in program history to accomplish the feat.
Disappointing showing by some of our wrestlers at Home! Iowa looked more ready to wrestle than NU in some matches! :( Getting a takedown was the difference!

"Nebraska’s LJ Araujo (165) earned his first career Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor, as the conference announced its weekly award winners Thursday afternoon.

The redshirt freshman recorded a pin in 4:45 against Utah Valley last weekend, adding six team points to Nebraska’s 32-6 victory. It marked Araujo’s second pin of the season as the seventh-ranked wrestler in the nation closed the regular season with a 14-6 overall record and a 10-6 mark in dual competition. "

The Huskers will begin postseason competition at the Big Ten Championships in University Park, Pa. The two-day tournament begins with Session I on Saturday, March 7 at 9 a.m. (CT). Session II is slated for 4 p.m. (CT) Saturday with Sessions III and IV set for Sunday, March 8. All sessions will be televised on Big Ten Network and Big Ten Plus.
