I still see this game as I did before the season. If PSU shows up, I feel they will win. We are, imo, much closer to the top BIG teams than we have been in at least a decade, but we aren't there yet. If PSU doesn't give their best this game, we will win.

Huskers are only a few key pieces from becoming a really good team imo. Obviously PSU is loaded with talent and were picked pre-season to via for a NC. However a Funny Thing Happened on the Way to their NC. They simply didn’t play up to their talent level, their coach got fired and their starting QB was lost for the season. Nebraska has enough talent to beat them depending on which PSU team shows up tonight! We must play error free football. At the very least we’ll get a very good overview of where the Huskers stand in the BIG pecking order. Get boat raced and left for dead would be a nasty sign we’re not ready for prime time… period. A good close hard fought game, perhaps even a win would be a sure sign Rhule has things moving in the right direction. At the very least there’s a lot of enthusiasm brewing in the Husker Nation once again. It’s been awhile since I can to look forward to watching a BIG GAME without feeling we’re done before we even kick off. Anything is possible but I believe we finally have enough talent combined with a few breaks to win this game. One thing for sure it’s certainly exciting to have Nebraska playing a nationally televised night BIG game at a place like PSU….
