Yep, today’s baseball outcome stunk. But the karmic balance sheet of the Husker weekend was decidedly in the plus column. Two outta three baseball wins against high grade competition AND a huge basketball takedown of Iowa, not gonna lie, I’m a taker.

Disappointing end to a great weekend.

Ole Miss surely looked like a title contender. All bus team for sure.

Not sure our pitching as all bad, just going against good hitters.
 



I got in a Twitter spat with some MF who thought I was an Erstad detractor. An 8-run 1st inning was certainly not optimal.

I thought ball/strike pitches could’ve gone either way. But blue was not giving that outside corner.

Defending Nat’l Champs are no chumps, so a loss was not unexpected.

It was still a great weekend for DONU
 
I don’t think the first pitcher was doing that bad. As a LHP, He just wasn’t getting that sweeping FB call on the outside corner to LHB’s.
