Game’s been suspended in the bottom of the 1st. Can’t find a game time it’ll be resumed. I guess they’ll play 2 tomorrow, but since ESPN’s carrying the Super Regionals, they’ll get a say.

Is it supposed to rain there tomorrow too?
The A-10 baseball tournament’s also been disrupted by rain here in Northern Virginia. It’s raining now, and supposed to rain all day tomorrow. My school, George Mason is waiting to play either Richmond or VCU in an elimination game. Shockingly, #2 seed Richmond was losing to VCU 4-1 when their game got suspended in the bottom of the 7th.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they just don’t know. I’m sure ESPN doesn’t want them to play tomorrow morning, hardly anybody would be watching.

I’d guess Jordy will go tomorrow, with Alexis on Saturday. Although I wouldn’t be shocked if Coach Rivelle decides to start Alexis tomorrow and have Jordy available on Saturday in case the Huskers need to force a Game 3.
I’m not following your logic. After pitching one inning, why wouldn’t Jordie come back for Game 1? That would set he up to be fresh enough for Game 3 if needed,
Looking at the radar this morning it looks like a long day of rain. Weather service out of Valley has a 90% chance today and 60% tonight, which I assume would be early since it shows clearing late tonight. Sunshine the rest of the weekend so they'll get it in, but it will probably be Saturday and Sunday.
I agree I don't see a change. Jordy game one, Alexis game two with Jordy in relief if needed, and Jordy coming back for game three if needed.
Yea, I think the 4pm start today will be iffy. By 8pm it looks like it will clear for good, so it might be a start and stop and start day— tough for pitchers.
Yeah by the way the rain is moving on the radar, it's the stuff in southern Kansas that will have to move through before it's over, and that is going to take some time. As bad as we need to rain I guess we can live with a 24 hour delay.
She'll be able to pitch today, no doubt about that. I'm just kind of surprised they decided to start her Game 1. If the Huskers lose, we'll likely have the freshman Alexis Jensen going in an elimination game to avoid a sweep.
Alexis is *very* good, but she's been prone to giving up HR.
I do get the logic of starting Jordy Game 1. If you win, you put the Cowgirls in a *really* bad position. They don't have a #2 SP as good as Jensen. That's why Ruby Meylan has thrown so many innings. She's pitched on back to back days multiple times this year. Meylan probably has to go in Game 2 tomorrow if they lose.
If the Huskers lose Game 1, I'd just rather have Jordy rested and going to avoid the sweep. If you get to a Game 3, then you decide if you want her to go on b2b days, or if you want a rested Jensen.
