Nebraska vs Maryland Game Thread (10/3/26)

I'm happy that we won, but there is no way we beat Indiana if we don't play better. Our stretches of bad play the last couple of games are a huge concern going into the games we have coming up.

I can't even decide who he compares to. He's a better runner than Joe Ganz or Adrian Martinez. He is more elusive than Taylor Martinez (less turnover prone as well). He's a better thrower than Lord or Armstrong.

Unique guy for sure. Maybe not the best pure passer or pure runner, but a really nice combination of both.
He reminds me of Trace McSorley from Ped St. Kid was a gamer. Knew when to take off and where first down stick was

I have no clue why Mora kept Summers. He should have just started fresh on that side of the ball along with everything else. Mora was all over him last week in the loss to UTSA.

Guess we'll see where this goes for the rest of the year. Things looked so good for the Rammies to start the year and then their stud QB got hurt. Wheels have come off a bit. But this was never gonna get fixed in a year. Not even close.

He was awesome in the 2nd half

We absolutely need to play better to beat Indiana.

That's a sentence I never thought I'd type.

I get the game had many ugly elements and things need to be cleaned up, but once again we far exceeded the point spread, almost doubling the betting line.

This was another convincing win in a game where we struggled early.

No way any Huskers team over the last decade wins that game. I don’t know if we go even 50/50 in the last half of the season, but this team has balls.

Go Big Red.

Forget the point spread and just think of the mental component. They didn't panic. They didn't act desperate. (Minus that idiotic onside kick call... WTH was that???) It felt like they knew they were going to win despite all the bull crap.

No. Real fans aren’t back. They were always here and didn’t bail half way through the first half.
lolol. I was talking about who is a real fan vs not. imo, it's pure BS. it is also arrogance to think you get to define what is and isn't a "real" fan.

Every team has had bad stretches, including Indiana. Not saying we don’t need to play better but I think sometimes we get dialed in on NU and forget other teams also aren’t perfect.
