Haven't been impressed at all by Satterfield, Raiola, and McGuire.Absolutely right about every HC since Solich making some bad staff hires that either limited success (in Pelini's case) or helped cause failure (Callahan, Riley, and Frost).
I think Rhule got some of the hires right, but there are question marks with most of the guys on the offensive side. It's year one, but it's ugly on offense.
I'm not so sure. Satterfield has been with him at every stop he's been. Someone pointed out yesterday how Rhule even brought him to the Panthers as an assistant OL coach, even though he had never coached OL before. He is Rhule's Cosgrove.I believe Rhule will immediately make changes if he feels it's necessary, unlike some of our more recent head coaches.
Satterfeld is going to get Rhule fired.
He was definitely Rhule's 1st choice at OC. Satterfeld was his OC at Temple from 2012-2015. The only reason he left was he parlayed that job into the HC job at Tennessee Tech. After his team went 1-10 in his second season he got fired. Rhule then hired him to coach TEs at Baylor. Satterfeld followed him to the Carolina Panthers, where he was the Assistant OL coach...despite the fact he'd never coached OL at any level.
Satterfeld is Rhule's Cosgrove.
High risk high reward previous offense did too. Ugly. Thats whats killed us, those turnovers should never come at the rate we were having them.Absolutely right about every HC since Solich making some bad staff hires that either limited success (in Pelini's case) or helped cause failure (Callahan, Riley, and Frost).

The difference is, all those places. Now since MRs been compared to BC, name his all those places?I'm not so sure. Satterfield has been with him at every stop he's been. You'll have to ask SWVA Husker. He's the one who made the comment. That said, it seems like every HC we hire brings along a buddy or two that aren't worth a damnThe difference is, all those places. Now since MRs been compared to BC, name his all those places?
Well, name one where he was HC elsewhere and brought along someone? You'll have to ask SWVA Husker. He's the one who made the comment. That said, it seems like every HC we hire brings along a buddy or two that aren't worth a damn
It certainly was expected to me. I wasn't familiar w/ him until S. Carolina, where he was terrible. I said that when we hired him.Well, name one where he was HC elsewhere and brought along someone?
If MRs considered a previously well established HC and Satt has been on those staffs, Satt being bad is an unexpected scenario, not an expected one.
Then MR doesn't know what hes been doing this whole time?It certainly was expected to me. I wasn't familiar w/ him until S. Carolina, where he was terrible. I said that when we hired him.
I don't know about that, but I do know that Satterfield is not a good OC. I like Rhule but he's going to have to make some changes on his offensive staff if we wants to experience any sort of sustained success here. Then MR doesn't know what hes been doing this whole time?
If you look at history, MR is a master to adapting to the players he has.I don't know about that, but I do know that Satterfield is not a good OC. I like Rhule but he's going to have to make some changes on his offensive staff if we wants to experience any sort of sustained success here.
Glad we got the W, but NU played really poorly for much of it.
