Nebraska's secondary: Not only did it limit Indiana's Richard Lagow to a season-low 30.6 QBR in a 27-22 win, but it also forced two crucial turnovers and helped quite a bit in run support. Cornerback Chris Jones returned one pick for a 33-yard TD, while safety Aaron Williams grabbed the game-sealing interception in the closing minute. On top of that, Kieron Williams paced the Cornhuskers with 10 solo tackles while fellow safety Nathan Gerry had eight stops, two tackles for loss and a QB hurry. Each defensive back -- including Joshua Kalu -- played an important role in the win, and each deserves part of that helmet sticker.
That would be tough to do. The report was that neither were suited up! :O O:I see in the participation report that both Westy and Carter played. Somehow I missed seeing them on the field.
Looking ahead to next week.....
12. Purdue (3-3, 1-2). The Boilermakers inability to stop the run has reached epic levels. In the last three games, Purdue has allowed Iowa to have 365 yards rushing; Illinois 315; Maryland 400. Woof.

Ranked 124th of 128 trams in the country allowing 265 yards a game at and average per carry of 5.85 yards....wowza....
Agree and I suspect we will get 200+....Given that the Huskers are undefeated when a Riley-led team rushes for at least 200 yards, we may be in good shape.
