Not just anyone. I can listen to a game, and slooooowwwwly type in my interpretation of what I heard. But then I miss out on what took place while I was typing. I then get lost on what I was supposed to be paying attention to.Anyone can do this. Of course, i have been typing since my junior high days (1950-1952) Did not really use it much, when I got a job with Safeway in '65. Last few years there, I went into Inventory control, so I was able to use my typing skills once more. I am not as fast or as agile as I was back then, but, hey, it lets you guys kick back, and I will get a little faster, as the season goes on. Also, this new keyboard is not the one I am accustomed to, but it works.![]()
Yeah it's hard to do if you type slowly. Not just anyone. I can listen to a game, and slooooowwwwly type in my interpretation of what I heard. But then I miss out on what took place while I was typing. I then get lost on what I was supposed to be paying attention to.
You are better at this than I am. You are needed to do this for as long as you can. Thank you for all you do.
And I can guarantee I will be sober for Wednesday's game with Missouri.![]()
I love calling baseball and volleyball!
Can't do as well on volleyball because it is such quick, close action
I was not into volleyball in my early days. It just wasn't that popular, surely not like today. That's for sure..I did sports photos and stories for a local paper during my high school days. I also appreciated volleyball because there was always something going on and you could get your film shot quickly.
