Nebraska hadn't been ranked in a top 25 softball poll since 2016.

The nation is taking notice of what's happening with Husker softball.

After sweeping a three-game set from Minnesota and pushing its win streak to 18 games, Nebraska is ranked No. 21 in the D1Softball Top 25, which was released Monday.

NU is ranked in a top 25 poll for the first time since 2016.

Nebraska is 33-9 overall, and at 13-0 in the league standings is the only team unbeaten in Big Ten play. The Huskers' win streak hit 18 Sunday when they rallied from down 8-1 to beat Minnesota 11-8.
It tied for the largest comeback in program history.

They have a great coach. They always seem competitive, also. Women's sports at Nebraska has been steadily on the rise for a long time. Congrats, Ladies! :Bow:

While nearly all mens sports that matter, are all, somehow cursed beyond repair at this point. So much more is expected from football, baseball and basketball. All 3 have ran into a ditch and are totally stuck. The curse goes on.

Baseball is 12 months removed from a B1G championship and Regional final against the #1 team in the country. Yes, this season sucks to this point but let's quit acting like baseball is the same as football & basketball.

It's not even close and the continued BS comparison coming from this fan base is beyond ridiculous. Rag on football and their 5 straight losing seasons (4 by the golden child) and basketball with their 3 straight losing seasons all you want. Baseball doesn't deserve the constant bashing.

Softball hasn't touched the post-season since 2016 (?) & folks act like Rhonda Revelle is DVH.

Last year is over. This team is definitely in the ditch in the here and now. More was expected of them, that’s all I’m saying. The extremely poor start festered into what looks like an awful season.

No crap it's over. Equity was built from that though so the 2021 season just doesn’t go away like it never happened. To say "ran in to a ditch and are stuck", along with the "curse continues" is what's additionally wrong with this fan base.
