We have 4 AP titles. 1997 was Coaches' poll only; UM won the AP (wrongly of course).

Of course, if we're going by the years listed in the RH column, we didn't win any nattys from 1982-93.

There's something fishy about that. You mean to tell me that we finished in the Top 10 for 12 consecutive years, from 82 to 93, but '94-'97 don't count?

We finished (in AP poll)
- Outside Top 10 (but in Top 25) from '89-92.
- In Top 10 from '70-76 (7 straight years).
- In Top 10 from '93-97 (5 straight years).
- In Top 10 for 16 out of 19 years from '70-88 (finished 11 two years, & 12 in '77).
- In Top 25 from '69-'01 (33 straight years), with the lowest rankings (only twice outside Top 15) of #24 in '90 & #19 in '98.
 
A little research without using AI is always more accurate.

From 1982-2002, there were 7 seasons that Nebraska was not in the AP Top 10 in the final poll:
1985 - 11th
1989 - 11th
1990 - 24th
1991 - 15th
1992 - 14th
1998 - 19th
2002 - not in top 25 (dropped out week 6)
