Vegas is not keen on losing money and nearly everything I have seen has the Over for the Huskers. Makes me a bit leery.
STOP PREDICTING HUSKERS TO UPSET HOOSIERS!!!
Why?STOP PREDICTING HUSKERS TO UPSET HOOSIERS!!!
Exhibit A:Why?
Indiana is, and should be, favored to finish head of and beat NU but they had 8 players drafted … including their starting QB. They have 17 incoming portal players with 20 leaving. Are you guaranteeing that Hoover is going to work out?
Cignetti is a good/great coach but not everything he touches is going to turn into gold.
Indiana is getting the benefit of the doubt … as they should … doesn’t mean they're not vulnerable.
I understand your point.Exhibit A:
"Red out around the World. BEAT TEXAS!" You might remember how that chest-thumping turned out.
We don't need to draw any extra attention to this game. It will be tough enough without the unnecessary bulletin board material.
The BTN guys are saying that IU's D line is the best D line they've EVER seen -- in 20 years of covering the B1G. Take that for what it's worth. They also were beyond impressed with their O line and WRs. If we can't beat them in the trenches, it's gonna be a long game.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if we beat them. But I'm not gonna brag about it, or even make a bold prediction about it, before it happens. Let's maybe win our first 5 games (decisively), then we can talk.
Wow. Shocked that Wisconsin is so low. I guess the visitors like to jump around too.
This is the traditional metric of returning experience. But it doesn't necessarily correlate to overall team experience. E.g. you get situational players who may not always start, but they play more snaps than the actual starter. That's why I like the new metric that I'm seeing just this year: Total Snaps (for Offense, Defense, overall, specific position groups, etc). I don't know if that stat has just come about because of AI, increased analytics, or what. But it makes a lot of sense.
