Nebraska @ Iowa at Iowa City - 2/17, 8 PM CST (BTN)

Seems like the wheels are starting to squeak, better get some oil or the wheels will fall off. GBR

3 of the 4 losses were to #1, #7, and #10. Two of those were one possession games. Two of those had Mast/Fraser out or not 100%.

Iowa is a tough defensive team with a good home court... odds makers predicted an Iowa win.

I think Huskers will be fine. Husker fans typically overreact.

Iowa had a very tenacious defense. Stirtz played incredibly well on both sides of the ball.

The refs let a lot of stuff go on both sides all night, but made 2 very, very bad calls in just the last minute that denied Nebraska a chance to come back, but NUs offense underperformed all night, and they made some sloppy turnovers.

This was a disappointing loss, but NU wasn't playing in their top form that got them in the top ten in the first place. Defenses are figuring out how to beat Nebraska.

I still believe we can win at least 2 games in the big dance.

We shall see if you are right or wrong..

EDIT: the bold is not taking into account how they played for 1/2 of some of those games.. really bad, which has slowly gotten worse.

If they get that first tournament win and accomplish what no other Husker team has done, then this season is a huge success. Nothing else really matters, but it needs to happen to keep momentum going for the program.

We just lost of game we were favored to lose. We have played 26 games and we've really not lost a game yet that we were supposed to win. We were favored at home against Ill but I personally dont count that as there is no way we should be favored to beat a top ten team twice in one season.

Mich, MIch ST, Ill, purude........and everyone else have ALL lost games that they shouldnt have lost. Iowa came out and played unreal D. Kudos to their coach.

Teams have figured out how to slow our O down and how to rebound against us. I expect Fred to counter this somehow and we start playing better. I hope anyway.

Im disappointed but Im not going to pretend like this is a big deal. Our schedule is now easy and everyone else has games they are going to lose. We are still in a great spot but Fred needs to make some tweaks right not and I expect him too.

gonna need to try to get Garcia some quality minutes. He’s a big body and we’re getting pushed around terribly. Can’t really play worse than Frager did tonight.
Iowa was able to push us around, and we barely had to touch them for a foul
bunch of bs! I believe there were a couple of fouls on us that should've been on them!
They even tried to blame us for a couple of out bounds that were off them!

I would really like to see Curtis get some PT going forward. We need an 8th guy to step up, we cant keep tiring out the team with a 7 man rotation. And Curtis brings a presence inside that could help.
He played really well the last time he had significant minutes (Michigan?). Anyone know the nature of his injury?
