Hawaii is notorious for homers in every sport. I'm pretty sure Osborne and Devaney decided they would never go back to Hawaii after the game in the 70's

Gary and Williams won that game. The rest of the team was sleepwalking. Unfortunately, this tournament won't help their Big Dance chances but will hurt them if they lose a game. As of today Joe Lunardi isn't impressed.

Really hard to watch this basketball game
Referees let Ore St get away with murder when you get a poke in the eye, no call have to call A time out. Theiy are blind as a bat on one side and over zealous on the other!

I was puzzled by the officiating...imagine that. it was a first half of hack attack, the reach-ins by OSU weren't called and huskers allowed to play physical...then suddenly the calls were close and puzzling to say the least.
Huskers play good physical D, and so did OSU. beating a 10 win P5 team should count, until you look at OSU's schedule.
Anyway, love watching this team. 3 and 4 are quite a tandem and they do get good inside play from their big guys.
Future teams are gonna hit the huskers with 1-3-1 and 2-3 zones. Hoibergs 3 was huge momentum keeper.

schedule gets tougher now...

Good tourney win, but it was a somewhat weak field (albeit propped up by the incredibly biased, completely horrible, why o why are we hated so much.. officiating).

As above post mentions, schedule gets more challenging. Hopefully the best is yet to come for this team.
