Kansas State has a true freshman from Omaha Creighton Prep, Dylan Philips who will look to have a big day against us. He started off hot, with 4 HRs and hitting .400. He has since cooled off and is closer to .200 now, but I would imagine he will get his today. Perry and he faced each other a lot in high school.

Not too concerned about this mid-week game (Kansas State does have a win over Texas Tech under their belt), but we have to go 2-1 against Purdue this weekend.

Gopher series........starting pitching was good enough for a SWEEP....but wasted! Husker hitters left 26 men on base with 41 strikeouts......almost all of men left on base were stranded with strikeout ending the inning! Ouch! MAKE CONTACT!......not a fan of bunting runners over with 2 strikes.....put the ball in play...good things can happen!
