No , she has a lot of haters , because of what she said three years ago, after losing to Texas.
If anything, she is paranoid.
I thot we all knew about her struggles. She is a very sensitive person who truly cares what people think about her.
A tough thing to handle, for sure.

I would assume at some of the events she's been attending like the World Cup and in New York for the EPSY awards she would have some security of her own or provided for her by the event.

Harper is the image of college volleyball, as is Nebraska, but her biggest following has to be Tik Tok. I would assume she has close to a million followers, and with that can bring some weird followers.

If there is a difference it may be many of the others spent time over the summer with other venues playing and honing their skills, Andi Jackson commented on how that helped her. I'm not sure with all the events Harper did over the summer, many NIL or Tik Tok related, if she had the time to spend on the court the way others did.

I thought I had heard she received a lot of threats after the loss to Texas. I'm guessing some gamblers made some bets that didn't go their way in that game.

Most young college women receiving physical threats would get at least a little paranoid. Being in the public eye just makes it that much worse.

So far, I don't think she feels as comfortable on the court as she should be, yet. We need her to just be herself. I, myself, believe she is a brave person.
Those out there that bully will get paid in full, one day.

I agree about her not feeling comfortable on the court, but I don't think it has anything to do with security matters or what people said three years ago after the Texas match. I think that is long gone and most people see her much differently today. Back then people thought she was full of herself after what she said, but today she doesn't come across that way, and her play has earned her a lot of respect.

But as big as her presence is with Nebraska volleyball, her social media presence is even bigger, that's where the really big money comes from, and could be the source of added pressure for her. Add in the fact it doesn't appear she spent as much time on the court over the summer because of her social media obligations, and it may have an effect.
