NCAA Tournament

How did Iowa win when they shot 28% from 3.....their best player was 0-9 from 3.....how? Well I guess it does help to not have the refs blatantly against you but still how ..

Taking nothing away from Iowa, who plays bully ball as well as anyone, Florida just was not impressive to me in any way. Big for sure, but man they just did not look like what you would see in a 1 seed.
They are very strong. They had an off game for them and paid the price. They had won 12/13 before tonight. They were very strong down the stretch. Tonight wasn’t their night.

Huskers get a rematch with Iowa.

Go get them.

Why didn't I get the tix from the university? Not that I would have had enough points...

My wife is an iowa grad and one of us will have a team playing for a spot in the Final Four.

i hate iowa. i hate everything about them. half my family are iowa fans. that being said, i told myself i would rather lose by 20 to FL then play iowa. The possibility of having this dream season come to an end at the hands of Iowa, I can hardly stomach the thought.

Please make me feel better about this matchup.... i know that logic and reason would probably indicate that you'd rather play a team you know you can beat, then one you are unsure of. but the emotion of it makes this matchup feel burdensome to me. Tell me I'm wrong, Please!!!!!

Friends we need to think like Winners here. Congrats to Iowa for taking down South #1 seed Florida - the Hawkeyes did what they needed to do. And Florida did not play like the #3 overall seeded team.

Nebraska also did what they needed to do - Vandy was a trendy pick to make the Final 4 as a 5 seed, a very good, balanced team that pressures the heck out of everyone they play, including Florida in the SEC Tourny.

I understand how folks are lamenting playing the Hawkeyes again - splitting with them this season in 2 very hard fought games will do that to people. Not to mention the fact, simply, that it is Iowa.

Think of it this way, though ... if the Huskers had beaten them twice in the regular season, how many people would be saying "but it's really tough to beat the same team 3 times in the same season" and letting that contribute to anxiety over the next contest. Fans do this to themselves, and in some ways it's almost a Husker Fan rite of passage to think the worst so we aren't as "let down" should the result go the wrong way.

Have faith in this Team and Staff - they know what is at stake, and they are playing really well. The way we watched the Huskers battle Vandy in the late stages of that game give me great confidence in their resolve and ability to continue.

Fred will have them ready.
