Louisville’s top scorer missed the last few games, but is practicing this week. If our team plays like they did for 3 quarters against UCLA, anything is possible.8 or 9 seeds are roughly equivalent. They got killed on the boards and turnoversUnfortunate play by the Freshman with that much time left on the shot clock.
Yeah they did. 9.2 left to overcome 4 pt deficit is tough. They got killed on the boards and turnovers
Of all the 8-10 seeds, I like the spot for the Huskers. TCU has had a solid season with a bunch of good transfers (Van Lith, who has been on top teams in Louisville and LSU, is the big name). But, of all the 2-seeds to face, I'd take TCU.
TCU has finished 8th, 9th, or 10th in conference play the past four season. Prior to last season, it was a ten team conference. The players are much, much better and I happened to catch recent interviews with Van Lith and others. They have a ton of confidence and chemistry; but, how will they do on the first really big stage for the school?
The other number 2s are U Conn, Duke, and NC State.
