I was really stoked when MR said after the Minnesota game that, "We don't make excuses, we get better." And his quote about turnovers and not playing. Now he is making excuses for poor QB play and still sending out the Turnover King. I am from the generation that takes a man for his word. In my opinion, this is not a good look for MR. What do the players think? What about Anthony Grant? He must be livid. I guess I expected too much from our HC. Still a Nebraska fan, but man does this sting.

Jeff Sims holds his fate in his hands. Imo, he doesn't hold onto the ball, his fate might not be to his liking, so yes, I believe in both MR and Trev

Taking note of what Reign? Deon's propensity to manufacture or contrive drama to motivate? Personally it looks to me like his team is talented enough that isn't even necessary.

He is who he is, every coach who prepares his team to play against Colorado knows who he is, there really is little to take note of.

And why even care? Prepare your team to win the game, then do so, and much of the talking stops. Rhule handled this the best way he could - and how he should have.

Fair enough
 
Northern Illinois lost to an FCS team on Saturday. Southern Illinois went 5-6 last year in FCS.

The fact that we are only 10-11-point favorites against a MAC school coming off a loss to a mediocre FCS team has to be the lowest expectations for Nebraska ever to come out of Vegas.
