Dion Sanders needs to address this
I do not expect him too
Future opponents of Colorado are taking note you can count on that
I didn't here an excuse. sorry.Unfortunately, it is not just 2 games for Sims. He turned to ball over at GT and has not skipped a beat at Nebraska. I was really stoked when MR said after the Minnesota game that, "We don't make excuses, we get better." And his quote about turnovers and not playing. Now he is making excuses for poor QB play and still sending out the Turnover King. I am from the generation that takes a man for his word. In my opinion, this is not a good look for MR. What do the players think? What about Anthony Grant? He must be livid. I guess I expected too much from our HC. Still a Nebraska fan, but man does this sting.
I hope so. I was disappointed when he said after the game there was no discussion of a change at QB during the game.I thought that was a pretty fair presser.
Rhule should indeed be encouraged by the defense and run game so far. Those are two very difficult things to establish as a new coach and the staff is doing a pretty good job there. There really is a crazy amount of development happening defensively, and a decent amount in run blocking.
A hard line needs to be drawn about turnovers. They are understandably preventing people from seeing the good things happening. It seemed like he might be taking a little harder stance here with Sims and TOs. He’s now addressed it publicly the same way he did with Grant. That could be a very gentle public warning for what happens to playing time if Sims screws it up again.
Assume Henrich is starting
I would suspect they stay silent, but they may not. Whatever. The next time I will care about what CU, their coaches or their players think and say is when we play them again.I would expect Sanders to double down. All they know is hype/hyperbole.
