Moos out?

Absolutely cannot screw up this hire. Pederson and Eichdork did almost unimaginable damage to the program by making terrible hires and being jerks to work for.
Think that lesson was learned, but if we did, it would give Frost a safe exit if he couldn't get things turned around. He said from the very beginning he couldn't come back here if the leadership was faulty.

Not happy to see Moos go, but I would be 100% onboard with Ed Stewart.

Why does everyone think it is Ed Stewart? Has he shown any interest in the job? He has been a very good candidate for the past 10 years. He was a good candidate when Moos and Eichherst were hired. I guess for me what makes Ed Stewart all of a sudden want this job or what finally makes UNL want Ed Stewart for the job.

Don't get me wrong he is supremely qualified. I am just not sure he wants the job.

DONU had better make sure they hire a top notch AD. We've seen what AD's like SP and SE can do to NU's athletic programs.

I don't actually disagree. If you went through my post history you'd see I've consistently called for 5 years. With that said, Frost's record is HORRIBLE! As a new AD it would be tough to keep him after another losing year.
There's more to rebuilding a program than the short term win/loss record. Process/Foundation/culture/etc. We will never have a sustained Championship caliber program with a 3-5 year revolving door of the coaching staff. Frost has proven track record at other programs, so I'm for letting his process play out. None of know how much duct-tape had to be peeled off to get rid of all the cancer in the program. I'm all for holding coaches accountable, but there's more to accountability than short term wins/losses. (The upside to a poor short term win/loss record is my season tickets keep getting better!) :)

Frost's seat is getting warm.

Guess that a bowl game is the minimum to keep his job and it probably only buys him another season. Getting to 8+ wins would go a long ways in buying him some extra runway.
His seat is warm in my opinion only if we listen to ESPN reporters whose job every week/year is post the negative without considering all of the facts.

It is probably all about bringing media in-house and that is falling apart before it starts!!!! :) I joke.
