MN Games

Over 4 hour drive for me, now if it were football...

I've been to the last two football games here, both losses. Rhule's first game as coach with 'turnover machine' SIMS at the helm, and the utter domination by the gophers last year. I'm hoping Thursday's baseball game lines up as a win. Plus, I enjoy smaller venue baseball on nice spring days and I'm local to Mpls. Never been to a ball game at Siebert field.

Hitting the Saturday game. Just as a head's up, Thursday's game is likely to be interrupted by a passing thunderstorm if the predictions and models are correct.

This is also a must win series if not sweep which I think will be difficult. Obvious for any hope of hosting a regional but also for seeding in the Big 10 tourney. USC plays Oregon so hopefully they off set each other but definitely need to go into the tourney as a #2 seed.

Reason being is with the format, likely they will be playing a team that will have gone through three starters by the time the quarterfinals are given the double elimination format and how the bracket is set up. Definitely rewarding the top four teams and more so, the top two.

Thanks for the heads up - I'll bring my Red Poncho. Current forecast indicates mid 70's, high winds, and ~50% peak chance of Rain.

Can't do Friday or Saturday -- smoking a brisket for a BBQ Saturday afternoon. Enjoy Saturday!

Well dang, I was thinking I was glad I didn't make it when we went down 4-1, all tied up and it's a ballgame!
