National league features a tight race for the West between Dodgers, Padres and DBacks
The NL also features a tight race for the top two spots between Phillies, Brewers and winner of the NL West.
Those 6 are currently solidly in the playoffs with Braves, Mets, Giants fighting for the last spot.

Who wins the West, the Top two byes and the NL?

American league is similar with the Yankees and Orioles chasing the East.
Guardians have a decent lead in the Central with Royals and Twins not that far behind.
Astros are rising from the ashes and starting to run away with the West.

The top 7 are fairly solid with the Red Sox and Mariners staring through the window longingly wishing they could get in.
I think the Astros make a push for the top two spots with an exciting race between them, Guardians, Yankees and Orioles.

Who wins the East, achieves the top two byes and the AL?

Some of these races will be tight to the last day, especially in the NL. The Padres are for real, but I still see the stinking Dodgers taking the west, with the Phillies and Brewers as top seeds. Sadly, I think you can stick a fork in my Giants this year…

The Royals and Braves have a huge series this weekend, and I mean HUGE. They are also, my two favorite teams. The Braves from my youth of living in Atlanta, and the Royals since I was 11 when I moved to Oklahoma. I loved George Brett. I’m torn on this. Both teams need desperately to win. KC needs one more to clinch, but the Braves might need all 3, with that doubleheader with the Mets looming Monday. Mets @Milwaukee is also HUGE.

It would be a fantasy, to have a Braves-Royals World Series. I could just sit back, watch and know I win no matter what. Lol. Yes, I know it’s unlikely. These two are rarely in the playoffs at the same time, because KC isn’t a regular in the postseason.

The Braves deserve to burn in the 7th circle of hell.
Leaving the City of Milwaukee due to greedy ownership consigns the Braves to lose every time they get into the playoffs. Losing Sale is going to hurt them as well.

Tigers are an interesting team. When does their magical run end?

Brewers all the way and anyone but the Yankees or Dodgers.

That was 60 years ago. I’ve only known them in Atlanta. Saw Hank Aaron play in person in the early 1970’s. They didn’t have very good teams back then. Also, that ownership is long gone.

Your Brewers struggle in the playoffs. And yes, anyone but the two teams who just buy what they need. No skill in that whatsoever.

The games were pretty entertaining today. King is pitching out of his mind in the night cap. His command of the strike zone right now reminds me of Maddux... with a lot more gas...

The Padres are a problem. MLB playoffs are hard to predict, but if I had to bet, my money is on them.
I think that they can be, but I will take the Dodgers over them if they get past the Braves (as it's looking like they will). The Braves limped into the playoffs. While I do give a moderate pitching edge to the Padres over the Dodgers, it is hard to shut down the Dodgers offense night in and out. I just can't see that happening. The Padres have a great offense as well, but give me the Dodgers line up. I just feel that the Padres have to many players that are willing to put the letter "I" in team.
