Yes but all that did was make coaches change tactics that make it more likely to be returned. It was changed to prevent collisions / prevent concussions.
if you're an accountant, just look at data. My guess is Rhule knows the data better than you or I. But football involves momentum and emotions. I'll go with the successful head football coach and his risk calculations. plus, I pretty much agree with him.
Huskers will depart for Minnesota tomorrow. I would assume they will do a walk through sometime during the day
I agree. Only 5 of the 135 FBS programs last year averaged more than 25 yards per return. An honest evaluation of your ability to be successful on kick returns is paramount. I trust that is what is occurring here. Not just bravado.
Also gotta factor in where the return starts. A 25 yard return from the 10 yada yadaI agree. Only 5 of the 135 FBS programs last year averaged more than 25 yards per return.
not if you were Nebraska...Yes but all that did was make coaches change tactics that make it more likely to be returned.
Yes. And that goes to some of the comments regarding being strategicAlso gotta factor in where the return starts. A 25 yard return from the 10 yada yada
I love how Rhule keeps pushing accountability. Everything earned. Have to put it on the field, but by all appearances he is doing what he said he would be doing from the beginning. That consistency is important to see out of Leaders.
They'll likely have an OL that will be tough to get through. Couple of new pieces but I expect a tough matchup there.IMO, Rodents are not very good. Lost 9th-Year QB and star Mohamed Ibrahim.
Kaliakmanis is a better QB than Morgan ever was. The bigger loss is Ibrahim. That guy was a stud RB.They'll likely have an OL that will be tough to get through. Couple of new pieces but I expect a tough matchup there.
