Minnesota Practice (10/18/18)

One thing that's sad about that is all 3 are poor roll models. One beat women and got into fights, one was a drug abuser and one a sex assaulter
These kids don't win like the 90s but they are good kids.
Erks me that Jason Peter talks about these kids needing to understand the culture from his day. I'm glad these kids done have that culture. We don't need Tyrone Williams shooting people and TO keeping the gun I'm his desk. Is that culture there Scott and Tom?
Sorry @hskrdavey but I can not let stupidity pass. I know you want it in a separate thread.

Jason Peter was not an addict while at NE. He became one after sustaining injuries in the NFL. He became addicted to pain killers. Maybe you have not heard but this is a national epidemic. @Pops can probably inform you about it if you would ask him. While he was with us he was a model citizen. So unless you want to blame him for his brothers poor decisions I think you are barking up the wrong tree. For the record the NFL creates a lot of addicts. https://www.washingtonpost.com/spor...ory.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.1b19700592b7

The sealed material, which was reviewed by The Washington Post, provides a rare look into the league’s relationship with drugs and how team doctors manage the pain inherent in a bruising sport to keep players on the field.

Federal law lays out strict guidelines for how teams can handle and dispense prescription drugs. The sealed court filing, which includes testimony and documents by team and league medical personnel, describes multiple instances in which team and league officials were made aware of abuses, record-keeping problems and even violations of federal law and were either slow in responding or failed to comply.

Where in "start a different thread" does it state that I, nor anyone, disagrees or agrees with any of this??? This is a thread update on Today's practice. If it's so important to you and others, why would you not make a separate thread so it can be focused on, get the proper attentions, and have a good discussion about it? Seems like a really good topic to address and discuss. I make my decisions on what threads to view based on the Thread Topic. (like most people do)

Kind of thought Thom was apologizing to you for not taking the discussion to a different thread and responding in this one, don't think he meant anything else.

You are correct sir.
