Yeah, we need to get a couple of those spots down the road.
A bit of a pet peeve when folks put out stuff like this without really thinking about it or the fact that WW I ended 100 years ago ..WWI generation is not ALMOST gone ... they are no more, and sadly our WWII generation is not far behind. Buried a few family members in last two years, all in their 90s who served during WWII.
Last year did we have any first team? Just looked last year we had one second team Stanley. No one else on the first three teams. So two first team would be pretty good.
I think Morgan was 2nd team and maybe Spielman was 3rd team. Pretty sure we didn't have a single defensive player on any of the first three teams. Not sure about honorable mention.
Yeah we should just forget about it and move on...

Sir: I didn't say that and that was not my point for noting the inaccuracy of the tweet. Our WWII generation is now the generation that is sadly 'fading away.'
I'm am as proud of our past Veteran's service to the Nation as anyone. Maybe more so now w/ my very Southern spouse whose family can count among our fallen dead all the way back to our American Revolution at Lexington, Massachusetts on April 19, 1775.
I've seen too many flag draped caskets and ramp ceremonies too ... our unit motto while serving under the 42nd ID in north - central Iraq during my last combat tour was "NEVER FORGET" ... damn sure that I won't forget.
