Why is everyone so high on Michigan? They haven’t played anyone and they’ve all been at home. Sure our O has been sad but that doesn’t mean we cant score against them. Have faith
0-0 on the road. It’s the main reason I don’t see them covering 18.5 points (although that number will almost certainly change by game time). Why is everyone so high on Michigan? I predicted Michigan in prediction contest because I never pick against Nebraska ever! But I hope the 18+ points doesn't mean the points we give them on top of the points they get of their own doing!!!! Never say never!! Michigan aren't world beaters!!!!0-0 on the road. It’s the main reason I don’t see them covering 18.5 points (although that number will almost certainly change by game time).
We haven’t put a full 4 quarters together in years.Huskers have still been a little sloppy in the wins- QB and RB not on the same page for where the run is going, fumbles, and fairly easy INTs dropped by opposing DBs. You can get away with that against NIU and La Tech, but not Michigan.
If we're back to a multi-turnover game, its going to be ugly.
There would be concern if it was a horse raceMichigan not looking very good out of the gate against Rutgers.
Is that why we are not getting our dollars worth? We haven’t put a full 4 quarters together in years.
I believe the key to this game is,I know NU has a game this weekend, but being real, who hasn’t looked ahead? I don’t know how good they are. They don’t have elite recruiting classes, but I’d put them in that next tier, mostly 8-15 range. They are well coached, don’t usually make mistakes to beat themselves, and play hard nosed football. I don’t look at them and say, gee, may as well just call off the game because NU has no shot. NU needs a good start, don’t get behind early, and run and hit, hard. Absolutely can’t turn the ball over, not even one time in this game. Probably will need to be +2-3 in turnovers to have a real shot. Have to convert the opportunities they do get. Have to make them go the field to score, so the kicking game for NU will be critical. Maybe a trick play, or two. Can’t just line up right now, so they’ve gotta get creative, and try to create some things. It will be interesting to see what the coaches try to do.
I‘d rather play Michigan than Ohio State or Georgia. Not even close. Play your ass off, don’t turn the ball over, keep the penalties to a minimum, and you’ll probably be in this game come the 4th Q. At this point, that’s all I can honestly ask for. They aren’t unbeatable.
You can’t protect him if you’re calling his number to run so muchI believe the key to this game is,
the offense has to step it up, while the defense will take care of themselves.
Just hoping for a very competitive game. Need to protect HH, that's for sure.
