Doubt it has any effect. Announcing this in May, you go ahead and throw extra resources at a preliminary game plan for those two weeks. Sure, there will be some adjustments needed once guys hit the field, but I wouldn't expect this will be a big issue for them. When Harbaugh got suspended things still ran smoothly for them. I think if he got suspended right beforehand it would have a bigger impact, but at this point you can plan accordingly.

Either that or its a Meatchicken trend. Wonder who's the new coach?
 
I don't know how much the coaching suspension will help NU, but it certainly can't hurt.

Kind of strange that the suspension is for games 3 and 4 instead of games 1 and 2. If it somehow benefits NU, I will take it.
 


Its the BIG disrespecting the Big Red once again ;) In all seriousness this far in advance and with Moore not calling plays UM will be fine unless of course NU beats them then it will be the reason why :Biggrin:

I don’t care what Michigan thinks about Nebraska,

Hopefully Nebraska will be ready to play and pull off a much needed upset.
 
It should be the first two games. This is another example of Michigan self-imposing a penalty hoping to stave off worse NCAA judgement, like when they suspended Harbaugh and then the NCAA imposed a much harsher penalty after he’d left NCAA employment. But scheduling for games of your choosing makes it look unserious.
