Knothole section. Kansas v. Nebraska, back when Kansas was a national power. Kansas has the ball on its own 1 yard line. Pitch to Gale Sayers around the Kansas left end. Close enough that I thought we could have touched him. All the way for a touchdown and I swear Husker Freeman White was 1 step behind him the whole way. Not our TD but vivid in my memory nonetheless.
Two plays I saw
1. Reynolds reversing his field and scoring (1950, 51)?
2. Safety against FL in the title game that we had to do two plays in a row because a penalty was called on our first one.

I dont think a penalty was called. I think ref ruled Wuerfeld reached ball out of endzone on the tackle
Homecoming game in 1959. The 2-4 Huskers broke Oklahoma's 74 game conference winning streak, winning the game 25-21. The goal posts came down with at least a portion of them being carried and deposited on the lawn of the governor's mansion. The chancellor cancelled classes the following Monday to allow students to "recover". My dad and I walked up to the booth and bought tickets with the official attendance being 33,000. The Huskers went on to beat the Scum and end the year with an inglorious record of 4-6.
