When the administration (Athletic Director) handles it, it is a standard set for all sports, all coaches, and all players. No one can say "well this coach handled this player differently and got away with it because that sport makes more money".That’s the best case scenario for Rhule. It should be a decision above the coach and handled by the administration. The rules should be in black & white and spelled out for all offenses including drugs, cheating etc.
In my school district several years ago I was attacked ( verbally) for suggesting that administration should handle EVERYTHING it’s not a team or coaches decision. Make it clear to cocahes, players, the community and everyone else the decision is an administrative one period.
If the AD does handle things differently, only one person deserves to be fired, the AD.
