The Huskers don't need another Lawrence Phillips. Although Tom Osborne handled that problem very well in what was a lose-lose situation. But with NIL it is a different environment now and Matt Rhule better get out in front of this one in a hurry. Anger management classes, accountability, and a plan for him to demonstrate he is an adult and not an unreliable street punk. Oh and a little family planning education apparently wouldn't hurt.

This is a different day and age for this kind of behavior. With limited roster spots and NIL, he may have lost his opportunity at NU. GBR

Every player's different. We're not walking in his shoes. Hope he sorts out his life. U Nebraska supports its players but doesn't condone such behavior. We'll see how this plays out.

I would assume there were some stipulations in his NIL deal that requires "good conduct" off the field. If not there should be. I would not want to contribute to an NIL fund that allows this type of behavior.
Having said all of that, for legal purposes, I hope no decisions are made until the entire story comes out. UNL did well to acknowledge the incident but make no other comments.
