You are just expressing your opinion, yet you DO go after me for expressing my opinion (try to mock my posts with other posters, you made the comment above). Funny how you are only expressing your opinion, yet you made the first comment above. It seems YOU are the one who thinks their opinion is infallible. I never told anyone they were wrong, matter of fact I never even responded to anyone until they came after me for my opinion.
If you really wanted to understand my position all you had to do was ask, but you didn't. You went off about an axe to grind, proving you were upset about what I said and you were not looking for me to explain anything.
The funniest thing about that comment is, I never challenged anyone, I never told anyone they were wrong.. you are!
Whether I gave credit to the defense is irrelevant, and that explains a lot about your posts.. You are upset that I didn't post enough positives in your opinion. Whether the defense carried the team is also irrelevant to what I said. While what you said may or may not be true, it doesn't change one bit what I said. The defense can still carry the team, yet win with some luck involved, the two are not mutually exclusive.
All of this is happening because I used the word "lucky".. you are getting this bent out of shape because I said they were lucky.
I gave examples as to why I said that, which should have been good enough for you, if that is really what you wanted, but that isn't really what you wanted, you wanted to try and shout down anyone that gave a viewpoint you disagree with.
It also seems to be you are upset because in your eyes I am not praising the team like you think I should, which is why you keep bringing up no offering credit.
About this "axe to grind" silliness.. I give this team and the coaches credit all the time. I can dig up posts if you want.. Matter of fact you just liked a post of mine from the last game when I said I logged on to give props.
You are creating a straw man, so that you can knock that sucker down to make yourself feel better. No, the REAL issue is you didn't like the fact, which you have said NUMEROUS times now, that I didn't give credit. That is the real issue here. I didn't give credit, like you thought I should.
