It was hard to watch in person. Honestly felt bad for the team as the officiating in this game was terribly unfair.officials absolutely stink, giving fouls on absolutely hustle plays. we are still hanging in, but hard to beat 8 on 5
It was quite noticeable.I went to the game. I haven't read anything in this thread but I am not sure how it came across on TV, but the officiating was horribly one sided in this game. In spite of that, the team still had a chance to win.
If you watch Gary's dunk you can see how the game was called differently. He got arm, face and bodied with no call. That being said the cold shooting late kept us from any chance of winning. Was monitoring on a PbP app while on a flight. The foul and FT numbers were clearly leaning heavily against the Huskers.
Did we move away from driving to the basket (and possibly drawing more fouls) and toward launching more three point shots (which don't generally draw a foul)?
Yeah, we hit shots, and the reffing is irrelevant. And the Buckeyes hit a high percentage of free throwsIf you watch Gary's dunk you can see how the game was called differently. He got arm, face and bodied with no call. That being said the cold shooting late kept us from any chance of winning.
