Oh I hope not, the other two basketball guys with blackshirts are out for the season with injuries. We need Sam!
This season has truly shown Fred's coaching abilities.
Consider the offseason was yet another rebuild. Then after losing two key players to injury midseason, he had to rebuild again. And the mix of new starters and rotations has worked well.
The best part is -- we've developed some quality depth for next season. Players that got very limited minutes earlier in the season have turned into bigtime contributors. That's huge going forward. Depth. Quality depth. Yes, we'll lose Griesel and Walker, which are big losses -- but I feel a lot better about that now than I would have a month or two ago.
There's a lot of great pieces returning next season (fingers crossed). By far more than Fred has yet to experience in Lincoln. I'm excited for the direction of this program. GBR!

I love everything about this!
First, the display of team chemistry and camaraderie is wonderful to see. Derrick Walker is a great young man. And it looks like we have a bright future with the Mayor's son. That was like a big brother-to-little brother moment -- love it!
Second, I love how Matt Rhule is a huge fan of every Nebraska team -- and he proudly shows this to the world. That is awesome.
That's a whole lotta love.
Saw him throwing the bones after the game
