Nebraska forward Lat Mayen, who started 58 of the 59 games he played for the Huskers, will not return to NU for his COVID season.

We had high hopes after he went 86 out of 100 3-pointers in a contest. (avg 33% from beyond the arc while at Nebraska.

Also, he went for 15 points and 8 boards in his first game. Or in other words, the exact stat line we all hoped he would average in a Husker uni.

Hopefully the guys that are coming in add more to the team. I thought Lat didn’t play much defense and lacked in rebounding as well. Could shoot some three’s but needed help as he couldn’t get his own shot.

Addition by subtraction it took FOREVER for him to get his shot off & wasn't very fast in general. Very smart to go pro back in Australia.

Good luck to Lat. Seemed like a good guy but agree with what others have said. We need an upgrade at that spot in order to be successful in the B1G.
