Martinez status for Indiana

So basically it was just a hail Mary from Riley to make it look like he tried.
Or you could just say you didn’t know what you were talking about, spewed a bunch of opinion as fact, got pantsed in front of the world, and are trying to save face with this post. Is that basically it?

Whatever the injury was . . . I have absolutely zero desire for this Martinez to get trotted out on a bad wheel like the previous Martinez. So if he's not 100%, let it heal. Assuming Vedral is ok, he'll be fine. And if you have to play LM in this game that is crucial to bowl eligibility, then do it. I have no desire to see a hobbled Martinez try to play. He hasn't been nearly his 2018 self when supposedly healthy before.
Doesn't LM have 3 games left he can play in and retain his RS? I thought bringing him for a single play in the NW was beyond stupid to be perfectly honest. Could have run a single play in the wildcat but so be it. Looked like someone panicked tossing him for a single play?

Could not agree more that AM needs to sit until he's a 100% healthy. IF he's the QB answer going forward for the next couple of years it would be extremely foolish putting him not 100% healed imo. Give Vedral some protection and running lanes he can get it done imo. He looked a lot quicker then AM when he needed to run in the NW game so that's a positive. Team needs to step up this weekend and play like they want to get to a bowl game. The game is very winnable assuming no turnovers, stupid penalties and offensive line plays much better.

Agee with you..and that last sentence will likely tell the tale for this game and the next!

Funny, when this happened I posted the same thing and was told it was fine, no biggie, he was next man up. Then HCSF said it was not the best move and was the result of a little chaos in the moment--linky below:

Luke McCaffery

Burrow is a great story -- but the real story is Joe Brady.

Look at Burrow's stats last season. 57.8% completion percentage. 16 touchdowns. 5 interceptions. Pretty much typical ordinary LSU quarterback numbers.

However, in the offseason, they hired Joe Brady from the New Orleans Saints. Made him their passing game coordinator. He's a young football genius, who has totally transformed LSU's offense and turned Burrow into a Heisman candidate.

So if you ask me if I'd want Burrow, I'd say no. Give me Joe Brady instead.
