Look out for the Ohio Bobcats

For the Ohio Bobcats (Ohio University / OU), the offense faced a major rebuild heading into the 2026 season after losing nearly all of their top starters from a 9-4 team, leaving wide receiver Dom Dorwart as the lone returning starter on offense
 
Based on last year's final FPI ... yes. Nebraska didn't exactly have an easy time with #73 and #75. But as noted a few posts earlier, the Former Fightin' Frankies lost a lot of guys.

Only five returning starters four on D and one on O

New head coach

New Defensive Coordinator

Trying to look at what Ohio did last year based these changes is a crap shoot at best

There is a reason Nebraska is a 25 point favorite

Until proven otherwise, Nebraska should worry about every team they play until the game is well in hand. Putting koolaid aside, the 2026 Nebraska team has plenty of question marks. New QB, new coaches, new o-line, unproven running backs, new defensive scheme, coming off a year where we collapsed for the month of November………again.

Nebraska can’t take anything for granted. Having said that, if we can’t handle Ohio, we are in for a long season.
 
Look out for the entire 2026 regular schedule. Even FCS North Dakota Fighting Hawks***. If played against Chadon State, then I'm nervous as hell !!

The only we lose this game is bad coaching and bad decisions late in the game, if it is that close. :Popcorn:
