Where else but Nebraska does the paper-of-record for the state print an editorial in support of keeping the football coach?
This is remarkable.
If the LJS chimes in, I'll be in full agreement. The wagons have officially been circled. This is obviously a coordinated effort between the athletic department and the OWH.
If it was coordinated then Trev would be having a press conference today announcing support for Scott being retained for 2022.The wagons have officially been circled. This is obviously a coordinated effort between the athletic department and the OWH.
I agree. But you might want to edit your signature.I remember thinking during and after the 2006 season that Nebraska was super close. We lost several games to ranked teams by small margins. 9 wins, a Cotton Bowl appearance. Our coaching staff was in its 3rd year.
In reality, it meant nothing the next year. The team fell apart and had a losing season.
This team does not know how to win. It’s used to losing. The close losses are not victories, and we are not close to turning any corner.
If the LJS chimes in, I'll be in full agreement.
If true -- and I suppose we'll never know -- it would substantially diminish my respect for Trev. The wagons have officially been circled. This is obviously a coordinated effort between the athletic department and the OWH.

8 wins? We are about to go 3-9 with the best defense since 2010 and a 4th year starter at QB. Frost’s ceiling is 8 wins. He just needs a bowl game next year.If Frost is retained for another year, all excuses are out the window.
8 wins with that schedule should be the absolute floor.
I would have thought they were out the window this year. Ultra veteran defense, 4 year starting QB, 4th year in the program. Next year: young on defense and new QB.If Frost is retained for another year, all excuses are out the window.
8 wins with that schedule should be the absolute floor.
