Logan’s confirmed she’s not going anywhere. I hope Jess Peatrie will be the only player to enter the portal…and there’s always a chance Jess will decide to stay too.
If Jess is looking for a program that badly needs a good front court starter, I (selfishly) hope Vanessa Blair-Lewis sends her a text, followed up by a phone call and heavy recruitment! George Mason’s front court offense was quite literally non-existent last season. They had some games where they’d win the rebounding battle, yet the front court would somehow manage to score zero or single digit points!! A Big Ten quality player like Peatrie IMO could do very well in the A-10, and Mason’s got the back court talent to win that league, and make defenses unable to just focus on a former P4 player like Peatrie.
I can’t believe Logan will be a senior and Britt, Kennadi and Amiah will be juniors next year. In contrast to how it felt like Jaz, Issie and Alexis Markowski were around “forever,” (and we got to know Jaz and Alexis so well) which is why it was so sad when they graduated, it feels like the last two recruiting classes just arrived on campus! As I always tell my nephew, please stop getting older. You’re taking me with you, and it’s not fair!
